Before you begin

At least one active screen or group and a saved menu. Confirm the location timezone first.

What changes

Schedules apply immediately and use the menu’s latest saved version when their window runs. A temporary override wins until it expires.

Create a schedule

  1. Choose a menu and target all screens, one screen, or a group.
  2. Choose a one-time window or weekly days and local start/end times. An earlier end time means the following day.
  3. For weekly schedules, optionally set inclusive start/end dates and skipped occurrence dates.
  4. Review overlaps, then save. The latest saved menu version is used when the window runs.

Understand precedence

A temporary menu override wins first. Otherwise the active schedule with the highest 0–100 priority wins; equal priority uses the most recently added active schedule. Outside every window, the screen returns to its default menu.

Newer overlapping temporary overrides win while active. When one expires, an earlier override can resume until its own expiry.

Review and preview

Conflict review evaluates current screen/group membership for the next 366 days. Intentional overlaps can be saved after review. The weekly calendar shows what each TV would display throughout a chosen week; point-in-time preview answers the same question for one timestamp.

Overview and Screens show the next scheduled menu change. These tools use settings saved now and do not recreate historical menu contents.

Handle exceptions

Pause and resume schedules without rebuilding them, or duplicate one into an editable draft. A skipped date removes the occurrence beginning on that local date, including its overnight continuation. Daylight-saving skipped local times do not run; repeated local times run twice.

Use Show a menu temporarily for a 15-minute to 24-hour operational override. It requires a connected player and automatically returns control to normal scheduling.

Limits and boundaries

Priorities range from 0–100. Weekly schedules allow up to 100 skipped dates; conflict review looks ahead 366 days.

If something goes wrong

Use calendar or point-in-time preview before saving. Pause a schedule instead of deleting it when you may need it again.
