Open in StudioChoose a menu. Square scheduled discounts require an imported Square catalog and catalog-update consent.
Events and ordinary specials update the draft and reach public outputs on Publish. Confirmed Square discounts update Square immediately and add the scheduled special.
Events describe happenings such as trivia or live music. Specials describe offers such as happy hour. Add a title, details, optional image and link, enabled state, and start/end time to the selected menu.
The same editor and preview behavior keeps wording consistent. Scheduled visibility follows the venue timezone.
Ordinary events and specials are menu draft content. Publish the menu to update TV rotation, public web/QR menus, embeds, print, and any venue website configured to include that menu’s promotions.
Expired promotions stop appearing according to their saved schedule, including while a previously loaded venue website is offline.
Square discounts are a separate operational workflow under Specials. An owner grants catalog-update access, chooses a percentage, weekly hours, and eligible imported items, then reviews the update.
Confirmation creates Square discount rules immediately and schedules matching public special copy; base catalog prices remain intact. Keep every till’s clock aligned with the venue timezone, reconnect offline tills, and test stacking with other discounts in a real basket.
Square discounts are weekly percentage offers for selected imported items. Other Square discounts may stack, and offline tills may retain old rules.
Preview dates and test a Square basket. If Square rejects an update, no successful rule should be assumed—refresh and retry.
