This notice explains browser storage used on venue-menus.com. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.

Older retired Venue Menus flows may clear legacy bbm_login or bbm_checkout cookies. They are not used by the current Venue Menus account flow.
Optional advertising measurement
On our marketing and signup pages, visitors in California, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked before Google Ads measurement is enabled. Elsewhere, measurement is enabled automatically unless you previously declined or your browser sends a supported privacy signal. When enabled, Google receives ad-click and browser identifiers, the page address, ordinary connection information, and a signup event with a random receipt. We do not send your email address, venue name, or menu content to this tag. Personalized advertising is disabled. This tracking is not installed on hosted customer menus or in the Studio.
Use Cookie preferences at the bottom of these pages to change your choice. Declining stops future measurement and clears the first-party Google Ads attribution cookies and local storage we use. Google Ads may also use _gcl_ls local storage to maintain attribution. Browser privacy signals (Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track) disable measurement regardless of a saved choice. Menu analytics
Public menu views increment daily aggregate counts by source—web, QR, embed, or screen—and broad device class—mobile, desktop, or unknown. Venue Menus does not place an analytics cookie, create a guest profile, or store an IP address in these analytics records. Ordinary server and security logs may still contain request metadata as described in the Privacy Policy.
Other browser storage and requests
A paired display may keep the last good menu in browser storage so it can survive a temporary connection loss. This is operational menu data, not advertising tracking. Public and account pages request fonts from Google Fonts; that request may reveal ordinary connection information such as your IP address and user agent to Google even though Venue Menus does not use it to set an advertising cookie.
Your controls
You can remove or block cookies through your browser. Blocking the session cookie prevents sign-in, blocking the return cookie may send you to the default Studio page, and blocking the language cookie means your preference may not persist. Public menus remain readable without an account cookie.
